Hopper: Watch DISH TV anywhere

February 15, 2013 by Naman Bagga | Filed under Uncategorized.

This post brought to you by DISH. All opinions are 100% mine.

With the increasing number of smartphones, tablets and computers, there is a huge demand for the ability to watch live TV anywhere on these devices. To fulfill this demand, DISH has come up with a service called Hopper. The Hopper is a Whole-Home HD DVR that lets you watch live and recorded TV anywhere and instantly skip commercials in recorded primetime TV on ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC. Plus, you can record 6 different shows at the same time during primetime and store up to 2,000 hours of your favorite shows.

Hopper includes a bundle of exciting features like DISH Anywhere. With the DISH Anywhere app (for Apple and Android devices) and online portal, customers can watch live and recorded TV including live sporting events, TV shows and movies - anytime, anywhere. The Hopper Transfers app allows you to transfer your DVR recordings to your iPad so that you can watch your favorite shows without internet access.  AutoHop allows you to automatically skip commercials on recorded TV and save a lot of your valuable time. PrimeTime Anytime allows you to record 6 different shows at the same time during primetime giving you three hours of on demand primetime ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC programming available to you for up to 8 days from initial air date.

Being able to watch live or recorded TV anywhere would mean that you can save a lot of your valuable time by watching your favorite shows and you'll never miss out on anything. The ability to record 6 different shows at the same time is one of my favorite features of Hopper. We all hate making the tough choice of which show to watch during prime time. PrimeTime Anytime can prove to be very useful in such a scenario. The best part is that you can get the Hopper free when you sign up for DISH. Packages starting at $24.99. (For 12 months with 24 month commitment). Learn more about the Hopper by visiting the DISH website.
