India have regained the Border Gavaskar Trophy by defeating Australia by 172 runs in the fourth test at Nagpur.India have won the series 2-0.This is the first time in seven years that Australia haven’t won a single test match in a bilateral test series and this is their most comprehensive defeat since 1983.I feel that it was a result of the combined effort of the entire team.Jason Krejza was adjudged the Man of the Match for his excellent bowling performance in the match.Ishant Sharma won the Man of the Series award. This test was Saurav Ganguly’s last one as he announced his retirement from international cricket.Dhoni allowed him to captain the team for the last few overs. This was a really nice gesture and I feel that Ganguly deserved it.

India have climbed to 2nd spot in the ICC test rankings as a result of this win.I hope to see India at the top soon.
