After a pretty messed up Ubuntu 8.04LTS codenamed Hardy Heron,Ubuntu 8.10-Intrepid Ibex will be released by the end of the month.The release date is 30th October.I have stuck to Ubuntu just because I don’t use my computer very often.I hope most of the issues will be solved in this release.
