The title of this post says it all.Zimbabwe defeated Australia in their match at the ICC World Twenty20.Don’t believe me?Look at this-

The match was a great one. This s what Twenty20 is all about. It’s totally unpredictable. The last few overs were very exciting as Zimbabwe required 12 runs off the last one. They won the match by 5 wickets with a ball to spare.I had a bowl out in my mind while watching the last over as I predicted a tie but the match was destined to be shorter. For the first time I found myself cheering for Zimbabwe. There were 2 reasons for which I was doing so-

  • My sister was supporting Australia.
  • I hate Australian cricket team.

This results makes the England vs Zimbabwe much more interesting.Even more crucial is the fact that if Australia lose to England, they’ll be on their way home.I hope Zimbabwe makes it to the Super8 stage.
