Today I have decided to describe the Extended Classroom Course(ECC) of VMC(Vidyamandir Classes) in detail.People often get worried and raise questions on the course. Thus, I have decided to help you with this.
ECC is the course offered by VMC to students who don't score enough in the admission test to get into RCC(Regular Classroom Course). In other words,it is offered to those students who would find it difficult to study in RCC.Classes are held twice a week and the matter taught is totally identical to that taught in RCC.The staff of ECC is really good. The teachers have great stamina and are capable of teaching a class for as long as 6 hours continuously.Today I am going to describe some teachers. Here's a description of 4 teachers(I'll give you more information later)-
To start,I'll describe Kulwinder Bhaiya. He is a mechanical engineer who passed out from IIT Delhi in 2004.He is a great Chemistry teacher and all you have to do when he's teaching is to listen to him carefully and obey him. You'll surely get good marks in Chemistry. He teaches some topics of Physical Chemistry in RCC.
Now I'll describe briefly a really cool teacher-Aditya Bahiya(Aditya Bhalla, you can find him in my orkut friend list). He teaches us Physics and is the most popular teacher in ECC.He has just passed out from IIT Delhi.Recently,I had a class with him to discuss Electrostatics. He was a bit tired after climbing 14km to go to Kedarnath with his friends. He initially told us that he was going to teach us for 3 hours as he was a bit tired.Unbeleivably,he taught us for 3hours 30minutes effortlessly. He even teaches Physics and Maths to batches of RCC(Regular).
I'll qiuckly tell you something about Palwinder Bhaiya. He is Kulwinder Bhaiya's younger brother. He is known for his good teaching abilities. He nevers looks at his watch while teaching. He's a student of IIT Delhi. His policy is that he'll teach for as long as six hours(time doesn't matter) if he has to,but he won't let you go home with any doubts in your mind.He is capable of teaching all the three subjects-Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics.
Vivek Bhaiya is a Maths teacher who is an engineer from DCE.More than a maths teacher he is like a friend who is very frank. He is one of the most strict teacher when it comes to studies. The same strict teacher becomes a close friend when it comes to talking about any problems. He is always availible at VMC.As far as I know,he is the only teacher at VMC on Teusdays.
Well the list of teachers is a bit long so I'll continue later in a sequel to this post.I hope this post helps you in some way or the other.

UBUNTU 7.04-LINUX FOR HUMANS
Yesterday, I finally received my free Ubuntu 7.04 CD. I didn’t expect it to come this soon as my friend GQ had ordered his copy much before I ordered mine and he is still waiting for his CD. I was really excited to try this latest version of this Linux based Operating System. I installed it successfully without any problems considering that it didn’t affect the Windows XP professional edition-Service Pack 2 installed on the other partition of my hard disc. Ubuntu is an ancient African word that means “humanity to others”. It was easy to install as it came with a live installation CD. All you need to have is at least 256MB of RAM and around 4GB of disc space. This is the first Linux OS I have tried and it seems to be great at first look. The installation is far more interactive than any Windows installation. As I have mentioned earlier Ubuntu is a Linux OS. Thus, you can use it absolutely free of cost. Therefore, you can order your own CD or download the files and burn a CD by clicking on the link below
I’ve decided to give you a glance at what you will receive if you download order Ubuntu. This is what the cover looks like
And here’s a picture of the CD
Ubuntu has a really good Afrikaans start up tone which is music to your ears. I personally got extremely bored of the Windows XP start up tone. The software bundled with it includes Open Office, which I must say, is much better than Microsoft Office. Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.3 is the default web browser and archive manager is the default archiver. The Add or Remove software menu is a good utility that allows you to download and install softwares easily. I would rate Ubuntu 7.04 *****(5/5). Thus, if you are thinking of upgrading to Windows Vista, you should try Ubuntu at least once before doing so. Why would you want to waste money for an unsafe OS if you could get a safer one free of charge. If you want more pictures, here's a picture of my desktop.

INDIA CLINCH ODI SERIES
Rahul Dravid started the day in a perfect manner by winning the toss and electing to bat first. His aim was to get a good start after winning the 1st ODI by 5 wickets. He was looking to win the series by leading the 3 match series 2-0. The match started 30 mentioning thus I didn’t post about it. The standard of the game was quite low and fielding was very bad. M.S.Dhoni saved the game for
The second ODI started with

SPANISH GRAND PRIX: PREVIEW
I’m really very excited and thrilled. Thus I couldn’t stop myself from writing this post. The reason for my excitement is obviously the Spanish Grand Prix which will be held this weekend. Something that has increased my excitement is that I don’t have a class in VMC on Saturday or Sunday. Mind you at VMC, classes are held on any day of the week. Thus, nobody can predict the schedule. The Spanish Grand Prix is special as after 3 races in

ORKUT USERS BEWARE
Signing up for an account with websites like hi5 and orkut is not as safe as you think it is.Hi5 has very controversial Terms Of Service which say that they can disclose your personal information like your E-Mail id. This is an open invitation to spammers. Another facility provided to spammers by hi5 is that there’s an option of searching by email. Now think about it, once a spammer verifies that a particular email-id exists, he can fill the inbox with spam. More importantly, the information you enter in your hi5 or orkut profiles are a good aid to hack your email id.
For instance, if you have a Yahoo account all they ask you in the first step is your birthday (which is visible on these sites), your pin-code and country. If someone knows where you live, he can obviously get your pin code and your country is not at all difficult to figure out. Orkut has an option of displaying your pin code on your profile. Some people have email-ids which have their birthdates in the username.
In the second step you are asked your secret question to display a new password. Some hint to the question can be derived from your orkut profile. Some people have questions like “What is your favorite pass time?” Everyone knows that almost everyone has the answer as
Now that you have understood the hazards involved if you have an orkut profile, I would like to make a few suggestions to protect your email id.
Firstly, check that you don’t give your correct pin code to orkut or remove your pin code from orkut.
Secondly, check your security question. If it can be answered by reading your orkut profile or it is too obvious then change it.
If you are crazy about some celebrity and have joined a community related to him, make sure that your secret question is not related to that person.
Select the option of hiding your birthday by editing your profile.
Just take all these precautions and use orkut safely without any worries. But if you have a hi5 account its better to delete it.

NAMAN ZONE
You might have noticed that the title of my blog has changed recently to NAMAN ZONE from The Sports Fan's Blog as I wanted to do so.My explanation for this would be that the phrase 'Sports Fan' describes me and not the blog. Thus the title was quite misleading as a discuss more than just sports on my blog. Thus I decided to change the name to something that describes me completely-my name.If you find it difficult to remember http://namanbagga.blogspot.com you can try remembering
http://www.naman.co.nr which is obviously equivalent to http://naman.co.nr
If you still find it difficult try remembering this one(you can skip www)

AIEEE 2007 PAPERS WITH SOLUTIONS
The All India Engineering Entrance Examination which is popularly known as AIEEE was conducted on Sunday.Students from all over India took the exam. There were 40 questions each on Mathematics,Physics and Chemistry making it a total of 120 questions carrying 3 marks each.Negative marking was -1 for every incorrect answer.I'm pretty sure that students who took the exam would be searching for solutions on the internet. Thus I've decided to make your job simpler by giving you a brief analysis of the paper and the question paper with solutions. The paper lived up to its reputation of being easy as it was easier than AIEEE 2006.There were errors in four questions. The cut-offs this year would be about 50-55/120 for Mathematics, 55-60/120 for Physics and 50-55/120 for Chemistry. You might be knowing that you need an AIEEE AIR of 12000 to qualify for a seat. So,to put it in a nutshell a score 165-175 marks will be enough to get an AIR of 10000 which is enough to qualify for a seat in a decent college.Don't get disheartened if you don't get an AIR in that range as the cut-offs will tend to fall after JEE results since students selected for IIT appear for AIEEE too.You can download the test papers with solutions from the link below.I would like to clarify that I'm not responsible for any printing errors or wrong answers as these solutions were provided by FIITJEE.

MEMORABLE SCHUMI WIN
I am a Micheal Schumacher fan as I've mentioned before and I've been watching F1 since 2000.In the process I've witnessed many Schumi victories.I remember some of them very well as they have left an impact on my mind. One of my favorites is the race at Spain in 2001.Mika Hakkinen was leading the race.He was more than 40 seconds ahead of Michael Schumacher and I had almost lost hope of a schumi win when suddenly Hakkinen's engine blew up on the last lap of the race.Michael Schumacher overtook him as Hakkinen was out of the race and posted a memorable victory. It's hard to describe emotion so have a look at the last lap yourself.
